It was reported by BizHankook that the world-famous K-pop artist paid full cash for the two residences in Seoul's Yongsan district's exclusive Seobinggo-dong neighbourhood.
J-Hope bought his first penthouse in June which was valued at ₩12 billion (about Rs 91 crore). At 273.86 sq m, this duplex has four bathrooms and three bedrooms, making it a very desirable property. A formal transfer of ownership took place on June 10, 2023, after the signing of the contract on June 3, 2020.
The apartment just below the penthouse was likewise bought by J-Hope not long after. This 232.86 sq m apartment has one storey, three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. He signed the second flat contract on June 23, 2020, and finalised the payment on July 26, 2024.
