New Delhi: Cricketer KL Rahul is all set to get married to his long-time girlfriend and actor Athiya Shetty. The two will allegedly get married at Suniel Shetty's house in Khandala between January 21 and 23. Suniel Shetty's property in Khandala is a farmhouse called Jahaan. The preparations for their wedding are in full swing and both their families have been extremely tight-lipped about it.

As per a Filmfare report, Athiya will be styled by celebrity artist Ami Patel , while the groom will be wearing designer Rahul Vijay's attire for the big day. Rahul Vijay's couture line has also been worn by Vicky Kaushal and Arjun Kapoor.

As per the same report, a lavish reception will also take place later, however nothing has been finalized yet. The wedding festivities will begin on January 21 including Sangeet and Mehendi where only their close family and friends will be invited. A grand property has been booked for the guests to stay which is close to the weddig venue.

The wedding guest list is quite grand ( in terms of star power) as Suniel Shetty's close friends and those of KL Rahul and Athiya will be attending. The star-studded event will include Salman Khan, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar, MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. However, only around 100 people have been invited to the wedding as Athiya wanted a quiet wedding among friends and family.

Guests have been asked to keep their phones away as part of a strict no phone policy during the 3-day marriage function, reports suggested.  

Due to KL Rahul and Athiya's tight work schedules, their wedding reception will allegedly take place after IPL 2023. And, for this reason, their honeymoon will also be delayed.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for the two to tie a knot, but tight schedules and other reasons have always held up their wedding which is finally happening.
