Kangana Ranaut Says Her Parents Got Married Against Everyone's Wishes: 'Your Love Story Is My Most Favourite'

Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to wish her parents on their anniversary with a throwback photo. She also shared how her parents got married against everyone’s wishes.

New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram to wish her parents on their anniversary with a throwback photo. She also shared how her parents got married against everyone’s wishes. 
 
Sharing a collage of her mother, Asha and father, Amardeep, from their younger days, Kangana wrote: "Thank you papa for falling in love with mumma and going against everyone, including nanu, to marry her on this day. Your love story is my most favourite." 

 
Sharing a photograph, Kangana wrote: "Happy anniversary to you both... like mumma says 'If I have seven lives, I want your papa as my husband in every lifetime'. The same way, if I have more lives, I want you both as my mummy and papa, always." 

Kangana also wished her uncle and aunty on their anniversary with a throwback photo of her chachi (aunt from her paternal side). In the image, her aunt looks lovely as she is dressed up as a new bride. 

"Happy anniversary chacha Jagdeep Ranaut and chachi Sharmila. They had an arranged marriage, but later they found out their pet names were Babloo and Babli. Haha, marriages are truly made in heaven," she added. 

Stating that she grew up in a joint family, the actor mentioned in her Instagram story,  "My mumma never owned even a lipstick. Joy of growing up in a joint family was that as a child, I spent all my time on my chachi's dresser, messing her eye shadows, lipsticks and breaking her nail paint (bottles). She is the most patient, kind and gentle woman ever. Love you chachi." 

Earlier on Tuesday, Kangana Ranaut shared a video clip from Aamir Khan’s show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and shared that she once considered Aamir her ‘best friend’ before her much-talked-about legal battle with actor Hrithik Roshan.   

Kangana took to Instagram, sharing a video of her conversing with Aamir on 'Satyamev Jayate'. She also talked about how the 'Dangal' star used to guide and mentor her with her choices.   

She added captions: " "Actually mujhe bhi kabhi kabhi woh din yaad aate hain jab Aamir sir was my best friend... jaane kahan gaye woh din."  
  
"One thing is for sure that he has mentored me, appreciated me, and shaped a lot of my choices, before Hrithik did that legal case on me. Post that they made their loyalties clear - it was one woman against entire industry."   

Kangana and Hrithik were engaged in a public tiff, after she talked about her "silly ex" in an interview. This led to mud-slinging, leaked e-mails, pictures and chats. The two sent legal notices to each other.
