New Delhi: Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday took to Instagram and shared a couple of throwback pictures from her college days. She also shared a story about designing an outfit.  


Sharing the pictures from her college days, she wrote, "This was my first day in the Chandigarh DAV hostel and my principal, Ms Sachdeva ma'am noticed me because of my dress, she called me and asked where are you from? I shyly said Himachal se, she asked 'yeh dress kahan se li?' I said 'maine design ki and village tailor ne banayi' she smiled and hugged me tight and said 'you will become a movie star one day'." 




 
Kangana added: "After I got into films ma'am honoured me with the pride of DAV.. I know many people who are happy for me but my principal ma'am is most proud of me..."



Principal ma'am has visited me in Mumbai many times and always kissed my forehead and told me about the blue dress story with love and glitter in her eyes, some teachers are so good ... she is such a blessing." 




 
She concluded: "I love her..Dr Sachdeva was also awarded as the best principal from the President of India ... she has got many awards and honours, ma'am has retired now. We were so fortunate to have her ...Someday I want to teach acting and filmmaking and be like ma'am." 



On the work front 
Kangana Ranaut recently wrapped the filming of Chandramukhi 2. She also penned a note for co-star Raghava Lawrence, by whom she feels very inspired.  


Kangana took to Instagram, where she shared a picture posing with Lawrence and wrote: "As I am about to complete my role in Chandramukhi today, I find it very difficult to say bye to many wonderful people that I met, such a lovely crew I had, I didn't have any pictures with Raghava Lawrence sir because we are always in film costumes so this morning before shoot started, I requested for one."  
  
"I am so inspired by sir, who is popularly known as Lawrence master because he started his career as a choreographer, actually as a back dancer, but today he is not only a blockbuster filmmaker/superstar but also an incredibly lively, kind and wonderful human being. Thank you for your kindness, amazing sense of humour, and all the advance gifts for my birthday, sir. Had such a great time working with you."  


The film's prequel, released in 2005, starred superstars Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan.  
  
'Chandramukhi' was a remake of the Malayalam film 'Manichitrathazhu' and was adapted in Hindi as the Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa'. 


In 'Chandramukhi 2', Kangana plays the role of a renowned dancer in the king's court known for her breathtaking beauty.   


Besides this, the actor will also be seen in her directorial 'Emergency', where she will be seen essaying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and in 'Tejas', where she essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. She also has 'Noti Binodini' in the pipeline.
