Thousands of farmers who have been camping in Delhi NCR have now called for a nationwide agitation on February 6 to mount pressure on the ruling dispensation to repeal the laws.

New Delhi: The farmers’ protest in the national capital of India has been going on for a long time now. The farmers started the protest in a peaceful manner but things took a different turn on the 72nd Republic Day of India when the protest turned violent and clashed with the Delhi Police personnel during the Tractor Rally. Hundreds of farmers deviated from the route decided by the Delhi Police for the rally and entered the majestic Red Fort.
