Celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married this weekend in Las Vegas. The couple tied the knot almost 18 years after they parted ways and called off their engagement.

Celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married this weekend in Las Vegas. The couple tied the knot almost 18 years after they separated and called off their engagement. The couple got engaged in 2002 but called off the relationship around a year later.  

Jennifer and Ben reportedly got a marriage license in Nevada and got married at a chapel on Saturday.

According to IANS, Lopez confirmed their wedding through a new edition of her newsletter "On the JLo".

"We did it!" Lopez wrote, alongside a black-and-white photograph of her holding a bouquet and Affleck kissing her cheek.

"Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world," Lopez shared.

The singer went on to say that they "Barely made it to the Little White Wedding chapel by midnight," and concluded her newsletter with sweet enthusiasm writing, "Stick around long enough and maybe you'll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at twelve thirty in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you'll spend forever with.

Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things "and worth waiting for". She signed the letter as "Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck."

Meanwhile, hair stylist Chris Appletown shared a glimpse of her bridal look on Instagram. In the video, Jennifer can be seen twirling in a simple white wedding gown. Chris posted the video and wrote, "last minute feelings before the wedding..."  

Earlier this year, Lopez was spotted wearing an engagement ring while shopping with her 14-year-old child, Emme.  

The pair first met on the sets of the film "Gigli" in 2002. They parted their ways in 2004.   

Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner and they are the parents of three children - Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.  

Jennifer, on the other hand, was married to Ojani Noa, dancer Cris Judd, and singer Marc Anthony. JLo has twins with singer Marc Anthony.  

Jennifer and Ben reunited last year after almost 18 years. The photos of the couple together started circulating and speculations were rife that they both are seeing each other again. They announced their engagement in April this year.
