Nicholas-Williams had recently shared a topless picture taken during her photo-shoot with UK photographer Alexandra Cameron. In the photograph, the model tilts her head back, closes her eyes, and covers her breasts with her arms.
The clicks soon started to get an ecstatic response on the platform with people appraising the model as well as the photographer for capturing a powerful photograph.
Calling out the platform for racial discrimination, Nicholas-Williams on her Instagram handle @curvynyome, said, "Millions of pictures of very naked, skinny white women can be found on Instagram every day. But a fat black woman celebrating her body is banned? It was shocking to me. I feel like I’m being silenced."

According to the reports, photographer Alexandra Cameron also accused Instagram of playing partial with specific communities. He alleged a disconnect between its positive statements over Black Lives Matter and the apparent unfair targeting of its Black content creators.
Soon a worldwide movement brewed up under the trend #iwanttoseenyome, with many slamming the platform for being racist and fat phobic, as they too shared the image on their own accounts, before having it removed.
Upon acknowledging the matter, Instagram reportedly apologized and the image, alongside others from the shoot, was reposted on Friday.
