Himanshi Khurana On Dealing With Depression After Bigg Boss 13: 'I Suffered So Much, It Took Me Two Years...'
Bigg Boss 13 contestant and singer Himanshi Khurana said that Bigg Boss did not turn out to be a life-changing event for her.
New Delhi: The Bigg Boss 13 contestant and singer Himanshi Khurana was recently a guest on Preeti Simoes’ Punjabi talk show ‘Dil Diyan Gallan,’ hosted by Sonam Bajwa. Himanshi spoke out about the difficult times she has been through with her mental health after leaving Bigg Boss. Her heart problems were discussed during her talk, in which she revealed that she had just been hospitalised.
After making news about her relationship with another participant Asim Riaz, the actress said Bigg Boss did not turn out to be a life-changing event for her. Himanshi explained how she fell into a depressive state when she remarked, “When I went into the Bigg Boss 13 house, everybody thought that this was life-changing, but that was not the reality. I went into depression because of the negativity in the house. I suffered so much that it took me almost two years to come out of it."
Himanshi explained further, "I went into severe depression after Bigg Boss 13, which started affecting my heart. I used to get panic attacks before going to events, shoots, and while I was dancing at Afsana Khan's wedding, I got a heart issue, due to which I was rushed to the hospital. I was in the hospital, and only my close people knew about it."

Himanshi summed up his experience saying: "It took me so long to recover and build my life again. I am still recovering from it."
Talking about Asim Riaz, Himanshi said, "He is very dedicated to his work."
Himanshi is quite occupied with her work commitments. In the Punjabi film ‘Sadda Haq’, she showed off her acting chops.
