FIR Lodged Against Mirzapur Web Series Producer And Amazon Prime

Mirzapur series has been mired in controversies many times. This was opposed by many leaders during the release.

OTT platform Amazon Prime's problem is increasing day by day. BJP leaders are angry over the recently released Tandav series. The Ministry of Information has also sent summons to Amazon Prime. At the same time, they are not leaving controversy with the Mirzapur series released last year. A case has been filed against the producer of the web series and Amazon Prime in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, a case has been registered against the producer of the Mirzapur web series. It has been alleged that the Mirzapur web series released on OTT platform company Amazon Prime is hurting religious, social and regional sentiments and spreading disharmony in the society.

It is alleged that religious feelings and beliefs have been greatly hurt by this series. In this, abusive and illicit relations are shown. A lawsuit has been filed on the basis of this.

Mirzapur series has been mired in controversies many times. This was opposed by many leaders during the release. Also Mirzapur's MP and Apna Dal S national president, Anupriya Patel also demanded an inquiry against it. She had tweeted and tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in which she demanded an inquiry against the series.

She tweeted, 'through the Mirzapur web series, it is being maligned as a violent area. Through this series, ethnic disharmony is also being spread. Being MP of Mirzapur district, I demand strict action against it. Mirzapur under the leadership of PM and CM is developing and is the center of social harmony.'
