New Delhi: Akshay Kumar dated Raveena Tandon about 30 years ago. The chemistry between Raveena and Akshay in the song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Paani,’ featured in the groundbreaking film ‘Mohra,’ is still a fan favourite today. The actress' romantic rumours began spreading after the song's release. 

The actress recently spoke with ANI and revealed some details about the 'broken engagement' that continues to haunt her to this day. She said that she hasn't been able to get over the 'broken engagement'.

Speaking with ANI, Raveena Tandon was questioned on a variety of topics, including the rumours surrounding her relationship with Akshay Kumar and the reports of their purported breakup. The actress responded by saying that she deliberately avoided media coverage of the topic. She said, “It comes up, and it comes up like there’s a war between everyone whom he’s involved with. Hello, once I had moved out of his life, I was already dating someone else, and he was already dating someone else, so kahan se jealousy ayegi (where will jealousy come from)?”

She went on to say, “We were a hit pair, during Mohra, and even now, when we bump into each other socially, we all meet, we all chat. Everyone moves on. Girls have been changing their boyfriends every week in colleges, but one engagement that has broken is still stuck in my head, I don’t know why. Everyone moves on, people have divorced, they move on, what’s the big deal?”

Regarding Raveena’s work life, the actor was most recently featured in the blockbuster sequel ‘KGF: Chapter 2.’ She has upcoming roles in Arbaaz Khan's 'Patna Shukla' along with Satish Kaushik and Chandan Roy Sanyal. The second season of the actress' Netflix web series, named ‘Aranyak,’ will also premiere soon.
