Ekta Kapoor Tests Positive For Covid-19

Earlier on Monday, John Abraham also informed fans that he and his wife Priya Runchal tested positive for the deadly virus.

Ekta Kapoor tests positive for Covid 19

After John Abraham and his wife Priya, producer Ekta Kapoor has confirmed that she has tested positive for Covid. Ekta on Monday shared the news in an Instagram post. Her post read, "Despite taking all precautions I have tested covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves." 

Meanwhile, Ekta was recently seen enjoying a reunion with actress Neelam Kothari and other friends. She had shared happy pictures on her handle.

Earlier today, John Abraham also informed fans that he and his wife Priya Runchal tested positive for the deadly virus. John took to social media and released an official statement. His post read, "I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven't been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experience mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up."

In the recent times, many Bollywood and Television celebrities have contracted the deadly virus owing to the surge in omnicron variant of the Covid-19 and the latest one is Ekta Kapoor. Last week, actor Arjun Kapoor, his sister Anshula and cousin Rhea Kapoor, and her husband Karan Boolani tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Several other Bollywood celebrities including Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi and Shilpa Shirodkar have also shared that they have tested Covid positive in recent times.
