‘Durgamati’: Victim Or Mastermind? Makers Reveal New Poster Of Bhumi Pednekar And Other Characters From Movie

Recently, the makers of the movie dropped the intriguing trailer which tells the tale of dirty politics with fear and secrets.

New Delhi: Earlier titled ‘Durgavati’, ‘Durgamati: The Myth’ is a female-centric horror-thriller film which stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. Directed by G. Ashok, this film is a remake of the 2018 Telugu film ‘Bhaagamathie’ which starred ‘Baahubali’ actor Anushka Shetty portraying the role of the protagonist. The trailer looked quite similar to that of the original Telugu version starring Anushka Shetty as ‘Bhaagamathie’. Earlier today, Bhumi Pednekar took to her social media and revealed new posters of the characters of her film. The posters feature Karan Kapadia, Bhumi Pednekar, Arshad Warsi, Jisshu Sengupta and Mahie Gill. While sharing, the ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ actress wrote, “Victim or Mastermind? Get ready to meet #DurgamatiOnPrime on Dec 11, @primevideoin”

Bhumi also shared a short promo from the movie and wrote, “The truth isn’t what you always see !”

The trailer of the movie sees Bhumi Pednekar in a never seen before avatar and some particular scenes from the trailer are sure to send a chill down your spines. Arshad Warsi can be seen portraying the role of the corrupt and powerful politician Ishwar Prasad. Mahie Gill can be seen illustrating the role of a CBI officer who is in charge of the theft of idols from 12 temples and Jisshu Sengupta can be seen playing the role of a police officer. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar and Vikram Malhotra under T-Series, Cape of Good Films and Abundantia Entertainment, the movie is set for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video on December 11, 2020.
