A Tribute to a National Hero

Diljit essays the role of the late Flying Officer Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, the only Indian Air Force officer to be posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra. Sekhon displayed extraordinary bravery during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, single-handedly defending the Srinagar Air Base against a Pakistani air raid.

The role holds significant emotional weight, and Diljit’s words reflect the pride he felt embodying a national hero on screen.
