Celebrity designer Swapnil Shinde who has styled Deepika Padukone, Sunny Leone, Kareena Kapoor Khan came out as a transwoman.

Mumbai: Noted celebrity designer Swapnil Shinde came out as a transwoman and revealed new name Saisha Shinde. Her designs have been worn by Deepika Padukone, Sunny Leone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani, Shraddha Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Sunny Leone, Tara Sutaria, Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar and many others. ALSO READ: Corona Vaccine Registration: Know If You Need To Register Or Not; Govt Shares Details Shinde took to Instagram to share images of her transformed self and revealed her name, Saisha which means “a meaningful life and I plan to make mine an exceptionally meaningful one.”

Saisha in her note also revealed, her struggles with her sexuality and it was in her 20s that she came to accept it she talked about the harassment she has faced due to which. She added, “I spent the next few years believing that I was attracted to men because I was gay, but it was only 6 years ago that I finally accepted to myself, and today that I accept to you. I'm not a gay man. I am a Transwoman.” Her transformation is being supported by many Bollywood celebrities who posted heart-warming comments on social media. Sunny Leone wrote "I love you and I am so proud of you for being the BEST YOU!! The YOU you always wanted to be. Congrats and happy birthday SISTA!!" Similarly, Ruhi Chaturvedi said "And Saisha Shinde has Arrived ????" Saisha Shinde is a NIFT graduate, caught her first break after becoming the first runner up in the Lakme Fashion House. She has dressed the who's who of Bollywood. Late last year, Elliot Page formerly known as Ellen Page came out as a transman, Hollywood stars showed their support on Twitter.
