New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan's status as a global superstar is undeniable, transcending boundaries and captivating audiences worldwide. Recently, when SRK met U.S. Envoy Eric Garcetti, the envoy couldn't contain his joy after encountering the Bollywood icon.
Reflecting on their meeting, U.S. Envoy Eric Garcetti recounted the encounter during his initial weeks in India. He shared, "I think when I visited Shah Rukh Khan my first couple of weeks here, we talked about cricket because, of course, he’s involved as a cricket owner. He owns part of a cricket team. Everybody in my office went nuts." Garcetti was amused by the level of adoration SRK commands across the country.
The US Envoy later shared a tweet with the caption, "Is it time for my Bollywood debut? Had a wonderful chat with superstar @iamsrk at his residence Mannat, learning more about the film industry in Mumbai and discussing the huge cultural impact of Hollywood and Bollywood across the globe. #AmbExploresIndia"
