After B Praak, actor Urvashi Rautela is the latest celebrity to step away from YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia following the backlash surrounding his controversial remarks on the show 'India’s Got Latent'. In a clear move to disassociate, Urvashi has reportedly unfollowed Ranveer on social media and also pulled out of a scheduled podcast appearance with him.

Urvashi Rautela not to appear on Ranveer's podcast

According to a report by News18, Urvashi was slated to appear as a guest on Ranveer’s podcast, a platform known for hosting high-profile celebrities and industry figures. However, given the recent uproar over his inappropriate comment on India’s Got Latent, she has decided to withdraw from the interview.

While she has yet to make an official statement on the matter, it is believed that Urvashi has also unfollowed Ranveer on Instagram. The actor, who was last seen in Daaku Maharaj alongside Nandamuri Balakrishna, has chosen to stay silent on the controversy for now.

What Ranveer Allahbadia said and his apology

Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, landed in hot water after making an offensive remark in an episode of India’s Got Latent, which featured Ashish Chanchlani, Samay Raina, and Apoorva Mukhija, among others. During a conversation, he posed an unsettling question:

"Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"

The remark sparked widespread outrage, with social media users slamming him for making an inappropriate joke involving family dynamics. Many viewers called for stricter action against such content, leading to significant backlash against the show.

Following the controversy, Ranveer issued a public apology, acknowledging his mistake. In a video statement, he admitted to a "lack of judgment" and stated, "I don't want to be the kind of person who takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect. I need to use this platform better."
