New Delhi: Sunny Deol's younger son Rajveer Deol, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut with 'DONO', thinks that his sister-in-law Drisha Acharya, who just wed his brother Karan Deol, has brought 'so much good fortune' to their home. In an interview with DNA, Rajveer discussed the recent success that his family has experienced.

Bobby Deol, Rajveer's uncle, achieved fame when he starred in Prakash Jha's web series 'Aashram' as a self-styled Godman. 'Gadar 2', starring his father Sunny Deol, was released in August and has since broken box office records. Even veteran actor Dharmendra, Rajveer's grandpa, has been praised for his performance in Karan Johar's 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'.

Rajveer, who insisted that it took a lot of guts to do something like Aashram, told the portal, "My brother got married, and my sister-in-law brought us so much good fortune. Everyone at home firmly believes that." He also expressed the wish that the public would love Dono as much as they did 'Gadar 2'.

He added, "I think in today's age of social media, if you're ain't relevant, then you are out of people's mind. And also, Dad (Sunny) was big in the 80s and the 90s and a little bit in the 2000s. So, (when he came back with Gadar 2) they thought that the old-school formula was dated. But what I truly believe is that people don't know exactly what they want," Rajveer said, "The audience does not know what they want. This is because the recent movies have a little bit of flavour of the 90s, and you can see that the public misses that so much. So it was an eye-opener for all of us."

Rajveer is getting ready to make his Bollywood debut alongside Paloma, who also makes hers in the movie and is Poonam Dhillon's daughter. The movie, which is made by Rajshri Productions, also marks Sooraj Barjatya's son Avnish's directorial debut.
