Shah Rukh Khan Surprises Aamir Khan’s 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Cast, Recreates Iconic Don Pose

SRK made a heartwarming surprise visit to Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ set. The video with debutant actors is winning hearts online.

In a rare and heartwarming moment of Bollywood camaraderie, Shah Rukh Khan made a surprise visit to the sets of Aamir Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The film, which features a debut cast of actors with Down syndrome, was in the midst of shooting a key basketball scene when SRK walked in—leaving the entire team stunned and overjoyed.

'Shah tu aana yaar!', Aamir’s wish comes true

Aamir Khan had been nudging Shah Rukh Khan for weeks to visit the set. In a behind-the-scenes video shared by Aamir Khan Productions, Shah Rukh is seen saying with a smile, “Aamir has told me 10 times. Come and meet the actors, they are doing so well. I didn't get time earlier, but every time I meet him, whenever I'm meeting him, he's calling and saying, ‘please come, please come.’ Even three days ago, he told me. Yeah, he stopped by and said, ‘Shah tu aana yaar.’”

SRK not only interacted warmly with the young actors but also recreated his signature pose and even mouthed his iconic dialogue from ‘Don’, creating unforgettable memories for the debutants.

Social media hails SRK's humility

Fans flooded the comment sections with admiration for the actor’s humility and warmth. One user wrote, “So wholesome 🥹SRK is really the sweetest soul,” while another added, “This is so endearing.” Some even praised the genuine attention SRK gave each person, with one fan commenting, “You can tell he truly values human connection beyond the stardom. King for a reason. 👑🙌🏻”

Another noted how the cast deserved more attention: “Throughout this entire movie’s release timeline, almost all the posts have been about or hating on Aamir, and I see no one/barely even talking about the entire cast that’s actually all people with Down syndrome."

About Sitaare Zameen Par

Directed by RS Prasanna, the film is a Hindi remake of the Spanish hit ‘Campeones’. It stars Aamir Khan as Gulshan, a disgraced assistant basketball coach who is forced to coach a team of specially-abled players as part of a community service sentence. The movie also stars Genelia Deshmukh and marks the debut of ten fresh faces: Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar.

In a bold move, Aamir Khan has also opted not to sell the OTT rights of the film, keeping it exclusive to theatres to reignite the joy of collective cinema-watching. ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ is set for release on June 20.
