New Delhi: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have reached a short-term agreement regarding the custody of their two daughters. Willa and Delphine are Sophie and Joe's two children. According to a Page Six report, the court filings indicate that the former couple agreed to a "amicable resolution."
According to the temporary custody arrangement, Sophie Turner will have temporary custody of the daughters from October 9 to October 21, and she is free to take them wherever in the US or the UK during that time. After that, the actor would have to hand over the girls to their father Joe Jonas, and they would stay with him until November 2. This agreement will be in effect until January 7, 2024, after which time new outlines will be formed.
Last week, Jonas and Turner engaged in three full days of mediation in an effort to settle their divorce amicably. Sophie Turner filed a lawsuit last month against her former husband for hindering the return of their daughters to England. After four years of marriage, Sophie and Joe announced their divorce on September 5.
"Statement from the two of us: After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children," the official statement from the celebrity couple read.
