New Delhi: Actor Sonam Kapoor, who became a mother to a baby boy in 2022, is on a journey of postpartum weight loss and on Wednesday shared a glimpse of her 20kg weight loss.
Taking to Instagram, Sonam, who enjoys 35.3 million followers, shared a mirror selfie on the stories section, wearing a black crop tank top and matching leggings.
The actress captioned the post: “What a wow.. 20 kgs down… 6 more to go”.
On January 4, the actress had dropped some pictures of herself in a lehenga and shared how it took her 16 months to feel like herself again.
The caption read as: “It's taken me 16 months to feel like myself again. Slowly steadily without any crash diets and crazy workouts just consistent self care and baby care. I'm not there yet but almost where I want to be.. still very very grateful for my body and how incredible it has been. Sonam is married to businessman Anand Ahuja. Sonam and Anand tied the knot on May 8, 2018. In 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was last seen in ‘Blind’. The actor is ready to explore OTT platform if she is approached with a good script.
“For me, being a part of good content and good cinema is all that matters. The platform where it’s releasing is immaterial because the world has changed. I’m excited to lead a project on streaming that bowls people over. I’m thoroughly loving the diversity of content out there,” the actor was quoted as saying in an interview.
She shared: “I have always been wanting to make my foray into streaming, provided I’m headlining a tentpole film or a series on a global streaming platform. I have been a binge-watcher of the outstanding content that streaming platforms have been creating for years now.”
