Sonakshi Sinha's Brother Luv On Missing Sister's Wedding: 'Please Give It A Day Or Two'

Sonakshi Sinha wedding: Sonakshi and Zaheer Iqbal got married after seven years of dating. However, the absence of her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha, has fueled speculation about a family discord.

Sonakshi Sinha wedding: Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal got married on Sunday after seven years of dating, in a ceremony attended by family members and industry colleagues. However, the noticeable absence of her brothers, Luv Sinha and Kush Sinha, has fueled speculation about a family discord related to Sonakshi's marriage to Zaheer, the son of businessman Iqbal Ratansi.

While several videos of the wedding are doing the rounds on social media, Luv and Kush are missing from the festivities.

Sonakshi's brother missed the wedding

“Sonakshi’s parents attended the wedding and were naturally elated about the day. However, her brothers didn’t come to the wedding as well as the reception. The photographers didn't spot the two entering the venue till the very end. And everyone found it to be really weird," Hindustan Times quoted its source as saying.

Luv Sinha on not attending the wedding

When approached by the Hindustan Times, Luv Sinha did not dismiss the rumorurs nor confirm them. “Please give it a day or two. I’ll respond to your question then if I feel I can. Thank you for asking,” he told Hindustan Times when asked about his absence from the wedding.

Previously, Luv Sinha had addressed the reports of his sister’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal in a conversation with ETimes, where he also refrained from commenting. “I’m out of Mumbai at the moment, and if it’s regarding the news published, I have no comment or involvement in the matter,” he told ETimes.

Saqib Saleem steps in as brother

Sonakshi's close friend, actor Saqib Saleem, stepped in to perform the brotherly duties at her wedding. A heartwarming video showed Sonakshi walking beneath a traditional ‘phoolon ka chaddar,’ a canopy of flowers held up by her friends, with Saqib holding one end. The ceremony was graced by the presence of her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha.

Here’s to love, hope and all things beautiful with each other, from now until forever ❤️
