New Delhi: After Sara Ali Khan impressed fans with her recent look at the Indian Couture Week 2023 with Aditya Roy Kapur, the actor also recently starred on the cover of a leading fashion magazine. In an interaction with Vogue India, Sara shared that she does not care about people's opinion when it comes to her choice of outfits or religious beliefs.

Sara featured on the cover of Vogue India and in the interaction with the publication, she said, " I learned that my sense of validation should not come from anything external, including the way I look. So I grew up with qualities that were very innate, very inherent, very internal. And because they’re rooted in such a secure place inside me, I’m not fazed by other people’s opinions of me. At my core, I’m still the same girl that went to Columbia to study Russian history. I think having a strong sense of self and not defining myself by what people think of me is the only way to keep going.”

Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. Sara's parents separated when she was quite young. Sara studied at Columbia University prior to taking up a career in acting.

She made her debut in 'Kedarnath' alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan will also be seen on the silver screen with his debut.

Speaking about the criticism Sara Ali Khan has faced, she said, "I definitely appreciate any kind of criticism when it comes to my work. I work for the audience and if they don’t like my work, it behooves me to see what I can do better. But if they have an opinion on anything personal, whether it’s my religious beliefs, my sense of dressing or my non-blow-dried hair at the airport, I don’t care."

Sara, who often visits religious places, is questioned by a section of social media. 

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was seen in a short cameo in 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' song HeartThrob where she appeared alongside Ranveer Singh. 

Her last film 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke' alongside Vicky Kaushal did well at the box office. Sara has many films in her kitty including Anurag Basu's 'Metro In Dino' co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Konkana Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Ali Fazal and Neena Gupta.

Sara Ali Khan will also be seen in the Prime Video film 'Ae Watan Mere Watan'. Sara will also be seen in 'Murder Mubarak'.
