On January 4, two men were arrested for attempting to enter the actor’s farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra. The two men then went around the farm's boundary, climbed on the wall, snapped the barbed wire fencing and attempted to enter the property. The security guard of the farmhouse caught two men trying to enter the compound by jumping over the boundary wall. They provided false identities to the guard and called themselves actor's fans. They had claimed to be Mahesh Ramnivas and Vinod Radheshyam from Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district, and later their Aadhaar card photos were also found to be false.
Security personnel called the local police who rushed there and took them into custody.
During questioning, they gave their identity as Ajeshkumar Omprakash Gill and Gurusevaksingh Tejsingh Sikh. Both of them hailed from Punjab.
Police recovered fake Aadhaar cards from the duo and placed them under arrest while further investigations are underway on their real intentions behind attempting to trespass into the actor’s 100-plus acres huge property.
They have been booked under sections 420 (cheating), 448 (house trespass), 465 (forgery) and 471 (using forged document as genuine) of the Indian Penal Code.
“A case has been registered at Panvel Rural Police Station against two people for trying to enter Salman Khan's Arpita Farm House in Waze, New Panvel. Further investigation is being done,” ANI quoted Anil Patil, Inspector, Panvel Taluka Police Station.
