However, Ruby gradually faded from the limelight. Now, she is reappearing on social media, but this time as a life coach — Ruby now leads a quiet life, offering life coaching services while residing in Goa.

Ruby, who has over 5.6k followers on Instagram, describes herself as a "TV Presenter and Happiness Life Coach." Her bio also includes a contact number for those interested in her services. Over recent weeks, she has been actively sharing videos where she promotes her offerings, ranging from life coaching and English lessons to podcast appearances, voiceovers, and personalised birthday messages — all for a fee of ₹1000.

About Ruby Bhatia
Ruby’s journey into the entertainment industry began after she won the title of 'Miss India-Canada' in 1993. She was also a contestant in Femina Miss India 1994, where she competed alongside Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai. Soon after she became a VJ for Channel V. She made her television acting debut with 'Yeh Hai Raaz' in 1997. She also appeared in the hit TV show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'.
After her brief stint in Bollywood, last seen in Ajay Devgn’s 'Halla Bol' (2008), Ruby made the decision to leave the entertainment industry and focus on her spiritual journey.
Speaking to Ujjawal Trivedi in a podcast, Ruby shared, “I thought one day I would find God, and I did. I wanted to live a peaceful life and calm my mind, so I left everything behind to achieve that.”
Ruby's personal life
Ruby’s first marriage to singer Nitin Bali ended in divorce after three years. In 2006, she delved into yoga and meditation, becoming a disciple of Sri Sri Paramahansa Yogananda. This spiritual journey led her to meet Ajit S. Dutta, a choreographer and fellow disciple, whom she married. The couple co-founded Body Dynamics, a venture offering dance and fitness workshops. She has two kids - Krishna and Vishnu.

While Ruby has chosen to stay away from the spotlight, she said she continues to be approached for television projects. However, Ruby has firmly declined, choosing instead to focus on her new calling as a happiness coach.
