New Delhi: Many fans were surprised when rumours spread that television starlet Ridhima Pandit was going to marry cricketer Shubman Gill. The actress is reportedly going to marry Gill in December of 2024, according to a viral report. Nevertheless, Ridhima has addressed these rumours, describing them as "ridiculous."
On May 31st, Ridhima Pandit took to social media to confront the marriage rumours. Taking to her Instagram story (now deleted), she wrote, “I woke up with a lot of calls from journalist asking about my marriage, but what marriage I am not getting married and if something important like this is happening in my life I myself would come out and announce the news, there is no truth to this news.”
Ridhima Pandit Claims Not To Know Shubman Gill Personally
Dispelling the rumours, Ridhima told ETimes, "It is some people’s imagination, I guess!"
She further said, "Somebody creates a story and then it goes viral on social media. I don't even know Shubman Gill personally. This is ridiculous. I started receiving congratulatory messages since morning, and I was tired of denying this gossip. I finally decided to post it on my social media handle."
With a playful tone, she added that she is unmarried and eager to meet new people, but she is worried that the rumours may put off would-be suitors. "I am single and ready to mingle, but because of these rumours, probable suitors now won't come forward I think. I do want to get married and settle down," the actress said.
