Lok Sabha Polls 2024: Actor Mithun Chakraborty participated in the ongoing Lok Sabha Election 2024. He went to Kolkata to attend the last round of voting. The actor left the voting booth in West Bengal's Belgachia and discussed that he is a BJP "cadre" and he has done his “duty”. 


Actor and BJP politician Mithun Chakraborty spoke with ANI after voting in Kolkata, saying that he felt obligated to cast his ballot. Typical of the other citizens, he spent forty minutes in line before casting his ballot. Furthermore, He said that he had completed his political obligations and would now just discuss films.


He said, "I am a BJP cadre, I have done my duty. I will talk about films from tomorrow because I have to feed my family too."






Barasat, Basirhat, Diamond Harbour, Dum Dum, Jaynagar, Jadavpur, Kolkata Dakshin, Kolkata Uttar, and Mathurapur are among the nine seats in West Bengal where voting is now taking place.

Mithun Chakraborty was a judge on the reality dance show ‘Dance Bangla Dance’. The last time we saw Mithun Chakraborty was in 'The Kashmir Files', directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The actor made his most recent appearance in 'Kabuliwala', directed by Suman Ghosh.


Kangana Ranaut Casts Her Vote


Apart from Mithun Chakraborty, Kangana Ranaut also went to the polls in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, to cast her vote. 






The Lok Sabha elections have been divided into seven parts, with the last phase's voting scheduled for today (June 1). It is scheduled on June 4th to conduct the vote tallying. The counting of votes will take place on June 4.
