Global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas is finally set to return to Bollywood. She recently revealed that she is close to finalising a new Hindi project.
New Delhi: After a long absence from the Hindi film industry, Priyanka Chopra Jonas is getting ready to return with a new project, much to everyone's delight. With the highly anticipated film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, the renowned actress is getting ready for a successful return after a six-year absence.
Though Priyanka is currently occupied with shooting the Prime Video series ‘Citadel season 2’, she has recently disclosed thrilling details about her next Hindi film ventures. She met with producers and examined screenplays, hinting at a promising project in an interview with HT City. "Not joking, I meet many filmmakers here, read scripts. I have actively been looking for something I want to do in Hindi. This year was really busy for me. But I have something up my sleeve; I will leave it at that," Priyanka teased.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas Gives Update on ‘Jee Le Zaraa’
The actress remained mum when questioned about ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, so viewers will have to hold tight until the makers of the film announce it. Priyanka said, "You will need to speak to Excel Entertainment (Farhan Akhtar's production house), about that." She did not provide any other information.

The three major actresses and the film's crew have been experiencing schedule issues, which have caused delays in Farhan Akhtar's ‘Jee Le Zaraa’. The film's shooting schedule was impacted by Priyanka, Alia, and Katrina's and Farhan's respective birthdays, according to production manager Zoya Akhtar.
‘The Sky Is Pink’, a 2019 Bollywood film co-starring Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, and Rohit Saraf, was Priyanka's last appearance. At the same time, the actress is working on ‘Head of State’.
