Renowned actor Allu Arjun has clinched the prestigious Best Actor award at the 69th National Film Awards, the winners of which were unveiled on Thursday. Allu Arjun earned this distinguished honour for his exceptional portrayal in the blockbuster movie 'Pushpa: The Rise'. Arjun's enthralling performance in 'Pushpa: The Rise' not only enthralled audiences but also garnered widespread critical acclaim, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and accomplished actor.

Besides this National Award, Allu Arjun boasts an impressive collection of accolades which includes six Filmfare Awards and three Nandi Awards.

Allu Arjun's Career So Far 

Allu Arjun made his cinematic debut with 'Gangotri' in 2003. His breakthrough came with Sukumar's iconic film 'Arya' (2004), for which he was honoured with a Nandi Special Jury Award. 

Notably, he further strengthened his standing with impactful performances in action-packed movies like 'Bunny' (2005), 'Desamuduru' (2007), and the romantic drama 'Parugu' (2008), which earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu.

His career continued to flourish with notable works such as 'Arya 2' (2009), 'Vedam' (2010), 'Julayi' (2012), 'Race Gurram' (2014), 'S/O Satyamurthy' (2015), 'Rudhramadevi' (2015), 'Sarrainodu' (2016), 'DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham' (2017), 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' (2020), and 'Pushpa: The Rise' (2021). His performances, including a lower-class cable operator in 'Vedam' and a carefree street-smart man in 'Race Gurram,' secured him two more Filmfare Awards for Best Actor – Telugu. Furthermore, his portrayal of Prince Gona Ganna Reddy in 'Rudhramadevi' earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. His remarkable depiction in 'Pushpa: The Rise' gained immense praise, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2021 and one of the top-grossing Telugu films to date.

The National Film Awards 2023 have honoured two accomplished actresses with the coveted 'Best Actress Award' for their performances. Alia Bhatt, acclaimed for her role in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi,' and Kriti Sanon, celebrated for her portrayal in 'Mimi,' both clinched the prestigious accolade.
