Mia Khalifa Loses Contract With Playboy For Supporting Palestine Amid Israel-Hamas War, Her Channel Removed From App

Former pornstar Mia Khalifa's contract with adult magazine Playboy has been terminated due to her recent social media tweets endorsing Palestine and Hamas during the Israel-Palestine conflict.

New Delhi: Former pornstar Mia Khalifa's contract with adult magazine Playboy has been terminated due to her recent social media tweets endorsing Palestine and Hamas during the Israel-Palestine conflict. The publication called Khalifa's remarks "disgusting and reprehensible," especially her apparent celebration of Hamas strikes on Israel and the tragic loss of innocent lives.

Khalifa's involvement in the incident started when she shared a message on social media expressing her support for Palestine. Her call for solidarity with the Palestinians swiftly drew attention and condemnation from a variety of sources. Invoking the apartheid analogy, she highlighted that those who neglected to assist Palestinians were on the wrong side of history.

Shortly after, Khalifa stoked the flames by publishing another message urging Palestinian freedom warriors to document the developing events in horizontal, top-notch 4K film. She seemed to want to preserve a historical record of the hardships Palestinians went through to escape what she called a "open-air prison."

Mia also lost a business deal she had with Canadian radio personality and broadcaster Todd Shapiro.

Shapiro, who was in the process of finalising a deal with her, announced her immediate termination and wrote, "This is such a horrendous tweet, Mia Khalifa. Consider yourself fired effective immediately. Simply disgusting. Beyond disgusting. Please evolve and become a better human being. The fact you are condoning death, rape, beatings and hostage-taking is truly gross. No words can explain your ignorance. We need humans to come together, especially in the face of tragedy. I pray for you to become a better person. However, it clearly seems like it's too late for you,” Mr Shapiro wrote on X.

Replying to his tweet, Mia wrote, "I just wanna make sure there’s 4k footage of my people breaking down the walls of the open air prison they’ve been forced out of their homes and into so we have good options for the history books that write about how how they freed themselves from apartheid. Please worry about your sad little company lacking direction and purpose before you utter my name again I stand with all people fighting oppression, now and always, do your research before begging for my investment in your little project, I’m from LEBANON, are you insane for expecting me to be on the side of colonialism you fucking weirdo."

Bollywood actress Gauahar Khan also extended her support to Palestine, earlier.
