New Delhi: Renowned fashion designer Tarun Tahiliani voiced his anger with the incorrect usage of his designs in recently released 'Made in Heaven Season 2' on Prime Video. In a series of Instagram Stories shared on Thursday, he said that the online series had a fictional designer misrepresent his work. According to him, the show's creators stole his ideas by using his clothing line in Episode 2 of the web series and attributing them to a made-up label.

The designer went on to describe the incident as a "shocking breach of faith" and said, “Unfortunately, a fictitious designer (actor) representing a fictitious label presented our garments! This is a shocking breach of faith.”

Tahiliani posted pictures of Mrunal Thakur putting on bridal lehengas created by a made-up designer and wrote, "If this is what the production house intended, they should have engaged a costume designer, had costumes designed, and proceeded as they saw fit."

Tarun went on to say that he is hopeful this won't happen with any other designers. He wrote, "Let's hope that this scenario does not repeat itself with other designers who have graciously lent their work for OTT productions."

The fashion stylist Bhawna Sharma, who was responsible for dressing the actors of ‘Made in Heaven 2,’ has not yet provided any remark about this issue.

Earlier, writer Yashica Dutt accused Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, the makers of ‘Made in Heaven 2’, of plagiarising her work without permission. She claimed that Radhika Apte's episode in the series was the narrative from her own life.

The second season of Made in Heaven premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 10. The series stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Shivani Raghuvanshi, Shashank Arora, Vijay Raaz, Mona Singh, Trinetra Haldar, Ishwaak Singh, Kalki Koechlin, Jim Sarbh and others.
