New Delhi: Samajwadi Party renominated actor and politician Jaya Bachchan as their candidate from Uttar Pradesh. The actor, who is all set for her fifth term in the Upper House of the Parliament, declared her and her husband Amitabh Bachchan’s net worth in the election affidavit.
According to Business Today, Jaya Bachchan’s net worth for the financial year 2022-23 is Rs 1,63,56,190 while Amitabh Bachchan's net worth is Rs 273,74,96,590.
Their combined movable property is reportedly valued at Rs 849.11 crore, with immovable property valued at Rs 729.77 crore. While Amitabh Bachchan’s bank balance is Rs 120.45 crore, Jaya’s bank balance is Rs 10.11 crore.

According to a report in The Times of India, Jaya owns jewellery worth Rs 40.97 crore and has a car of Rs 9.82 lakh. Amitabh has jewellery worth Rs 54.77 crore and has 16 vehicles, including two Mercedes and a Range Rover, for Rs 17.66 crore.
As per the affidavit, sources of Jaya Bachchan’s include endorsements, her MP salary, and professional fees. Amitabh Bachchan’s income is from his fees as an actor, rent, dividends, capital gains, interest, and revenue generated by a solar plant.
