‘Disrespectful and Rude’: Mukesh Chhabra Slammed For Behavior Towards Farah Khan’s Chef In Vlog
Farah Khan’s latest vlog featuring casting director Mukesh Chhabra has sparked backlash after viewers accused him of being rude and disrespectful toward her chef, Dilip.

Filmmaker Farah Khan’s YouTube vlogs are usually a source of joy and laughter for her fans, but her latest video has sparked backlash online. During a recent visit to casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s studio in Mumbai, what began as a light-hearted segment took a turn that left netizens accusing Mukesh of being “rude” and “disrespectful” toward Farah’s chef, Dilip.
In the vlog, Farah and Mukesh engage in a playful, impromptu audition with Dilip. Later, Mukesh introduces them to his own cook, who proudly claims to make the best biryani. When Dilip says, “I will make it, give me a chance,” Farah humorously adds that Dilip isn’t asking for a chance to make biryani, but rather for an acting opportunity.
To this, Mukesh sharply retorts:“Neither do you know how to make biryani nor act, so let him do it.”

Farah quickly comes to Dilip’s defence, jokingly saying that he acts very well when requesting a salary raise. Later, once the biryani is ready, Farah and Dilip are seen chatting casually. At one point, Farah offers a tip to Dilip:“You want to be an actor, right? Always look for the right lighting. If you stand in front, another actor might come and cover you.”
Dilip playfully responds, “Yes, like I am covering you right now,” as he steps in front of Farah. At that moment, Mukesh is seen pushing Dilip back, an action that drew widespread criticism from viewers.

Netizens Slam Mukesh Chhabra for His ‘Disrespectful’ Conduct
Viewers quickly took to the comments section and social media to express their disappointment in Mukesh Chhabra’s behavior.
One user wrote:“Mukesh Chhabra is so rude to Dilip, no one has behaved like this before.”
Another pointed out: “He pulled him forcefully without realising that Dilip was joking. It was very rude. Even earlier in the episode, he insulted Dilip by saying he can’t act. Farah subtly defended him by saying he acts well when asking for a raise. The whole vibe felt off compared to other episodes.”
Comments continued to pour in:
“Even if this was scripted, you shouldn’t treat someone this way. It’s not funny.”
“Ew, he behaves like a classist. Cringe. Needs to be humbled.”
“That was so inappropriate. He got physical so quickly,” wrote one Reddit user.
The incident has sparked a larger conversation about respect, hierarchy, and tone in entertainment content, with many calling for more sensitivity—even in jest.
