According to Hindustan Times, a source close to the affair confirms that the “wedding rumours are all true”. The couple has been reportedly living together for almost a year now.
“Sonakshi and Zaheer moved in together a while ago. The soon-to-be bride and groom have the blessings of their families. The wedding is going to be an intimate affair, with only the couple’s families and close friends in attendance. Sonkashi doesn't want to give out much details of her wedding before it happens and wants to keep it just in her close circle. Many of her actor friends will also be marking their presence to be a part of the most special day for the couple,” the source shares.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal reportedly met each other at a party hosted by actor Salman Khan. They bonded right away and developed a friendship that eventually turned into love. They were seen together in the comedy film ‘Double XL’. It was directed by Satram Ramani and also featured Huma Qureshi in the lead role.

Born on December 10, 1988, in Mumbai, Zaheer Iqbal is the son of Iqbal Ratnasi, who shares a close bond with Salman Khan. The 34-year-old completed his schooling from Mumbai's Scottish School. Zaheer began his career with Sohail Khan in 2014, when he worked as an assistant. Salman Khan-produced romantic drama ‘Notebook’ marked Zaheer's Bollywood debut in 2019. He starred alongside Pranutan Bahal in the film, who is the granddaughter of the late actress Nutan. The film was a remake of the 2014 Thai film 'The Teacher's Diary'.
