New Delhi: Diljit Dosanjh's 'Amar Singh Chamkila' has finally been released on Netflix. Diljit Dosanjh was also most recently seen in 'Crew' alongside Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Recently, Trupti Khamkar, who portrays the role of a cop in the film, shared her experience of working in the film with Diljit Dosanjh.

‘Diljit Dosanjh is spiritual’

Trupti praised Diljit Dosanjh and called him 'spiritual'. Trupti called Diljit a 'Shiv Bhakt' who 'constantly chants Om Namah Shivay'. In an interaction with The Free Press Journal, she said, "I would definitely like to work with Diljit again. He is the most God-like person I’ve ever met. He comes with the most amount of humility. He is a Shiv bhakt and he constantly chants Om Namah Shivay. When you are around him, you feel like you are in a temple, near God. He is very spiritual.”

“Diljit is, of course, an amazing actor, and he is never not there. Even in between scenes, he looks into your eyes. I want to be like him. If I become only 10 per cent of what he is, mujhe lagega maine duniya jeet li hai (I’ll fell like I have done something). He is ‘Dil-Jeet’ in a real sense.” Trupti added.

Trupti wants to be like Diljit Dosanjh

In the same interaction, Trupti added that when she was told her role is more than Diljit Dosanjh in the film, she did not believe it until she saw the film. “Diljit is, of course, an amazing actor, and he is never not there. Even in between scenes, he looks into your eyes. I want to be like him. If I become only 10 per cent of what he is, mujhe lagega maine duniya jeet li hai (I’ll fell like I have done something). He is ‘Dil-Jeet’ in a real sense,” she added.
