Bollywood Stars Condemn Kashmir Terror Attack: 'India Will Give A Befitting Reply'

Bollywood celebrities, deeply affected by the Pahalgam terror attack, have come forward to condemn the senseless act of violence and offer their solidarity with the victims and their families.

In a heartbreaking and shocking incident that has shaken the nation, a brutal terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on Tuesday (April 22) left 28 innocent tourists dead and several others critically injured. The horrifying assault, carried out by terrorists associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and claimed by The Resistance Front, took place in the picturesque Baisaran Valley and has sparked national mourning and widespread condemnation across the country.

The attackers even shared a disturbing image of an injured tourist in a social media post, further deepening the outrage.

Bollywood celebrities, deeply affected by the tragedy, have come forward to condemn the senseless act of violence and offer their solidarity with the victims and their families.

Actor Sonu Sood voiced his strong condemnation on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir’s #Pahalgam. Terrorism should not have any place in a civilised world and this dastardly act is unacceptable. My deepest condolences to the families who lost their dear ones and prayers for the early recovery of those who are injured. Om Sai Ram.”

 

Tusshar Kapoor also responded to the tragedy, posting, “Strongly condemn the dastardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam. India will give a befitting reply to the cowards! Those who fear the rise of India will have to eat humble pie, as always! Prayers for those injured and the families of those killed! #Pahalgam.”

Actor Vivek Oberoi shared his sorrow and hope for peace, saying, “A shadow of sorrow falls heavy today, as news of the horrific terror attack in Kashmir breaks our hearts. Sending deepest condolences and prayers to all the families who have tragically lost loved ones. Now, more than ever, the world must come together in solidarity against such hatred, striving for strength, healing and enduring peace. #PeaceNotTerror.”

Veteran actress Bhagyashree expressed her grief and demanded justice, writing, “Innocent lives lost! Shattered to see what the miscreants have done in Kashmir. We, the Indians, urge the PM to see to it that those who have committed this heinous act are brought to justice. @PMOIndia #Kashmir.”

Raveena Tandon, deeply moved by the news, shared a powerful message, “Om Shanti. Condolences. No words to express the anguish. Prayers and strength to the victims. Time we all let go of petty in-house fighting, UNITE and realise the true enemy.”

 

As the country mourns this tragic loss, there is a renewed call for unity and decisive action against terrorism to ensure such barbaric acts are never repeated.
