New Delhi: The most recent Bigg Boss season is over, but the controversy surrounding it shows no signs of going away. Now Bigg Boss 17's proclaimed winner, the stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui is back in the news, but this time it's for something that occurred months ago in the house. He made a controversial statement inside the house that fellow contestant Mannara Chopra kissed him during a Diwali special episode. Lately, Mannara discussed her relationship with Munawar Faruqui and responded to Faruqui's accusations that she kissed him on the show.

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Mannara addressed Munawar's claims that she kissed him during the Diwali festivities, as seen on television. She said, “I have heard about this, but I don’t think they would have shown something like this on TV. I don’t know why he said that, but I will ask him about it when we meet. You should ask him about why he said this.”

Elaborating on her bond with Munawar, she added, “When my sister came on the show, she said that my comfort with Munawar was just like I shared with my sister. It was just a friendship, where he guided me.”

‘Bigg Boss 17’ winner has yet to address Mannara's viewpoint, but her remarks have ignited fresh debates among viewers.

After getting off to a strong start as friends in the Bigg Boss house, Munawar and Mannara's bond weakened, leading to several arguments between them. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to restore their friendship.
