New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss 17' ended with Munawar Faruqui becoming the winner followed by Abhishek Kumar and Mannara Chopra as first and second runner-up. Munawar did an Instagram live on Saturday and took a sly dig at Mannara who had added in her Instagram description ‘Bigg Boss 17 winner in the female category”. She had later removed it and changed it to Bigg Boss 17 runner-up.
In his Instagram Live, Munawar roasted Mannara indirectly and said, “Aoora ko jaante ho sab log? Aoora NRI category mein winner tha. Bas yhi btana tha mujhe. Naved (Sole) jo tha voh runner up tha NRI category mein. Wife category mein Ankita (Lokhande) winner thi, husband category mein Vicky bhai.”
The video has gone viral on social media.
He was also asked when he will meet other contestants of Bigg Boss 17, to which he replied, "All of you have been asking me when I will meet the housemates from Bigg Boss so let me tell you. Everyone has just come out of the Bigg Boss house, let them enjoy their attention and limelight. I saw them for 105 days, now I want a break from that. I don't want to see them for some time. I spoke to Abhishek and will meet him once he is back from his hometown."
He also spoke about his Lock-Upp co-contestant Poonam Pandey’s fake death stunt. "I am happy that she is alive but she ruined the whole day yesterday. I was going to come live for you fans but because of her, I didn't come live. This is not how awareness is done. Poonam Pandey toh undertaker nikli,” he said during the live session.
Munawar and Mannara started on a good note in Bigg Boss house and became good friends but later their friendship turned sour, and they had many fights in the house. Both of them tried to reconcile but were not able to go back to their old friendship.
