'Nothing Is More Valuable Than Life': B Praak Reacts After Stage Collapse At Kalkaji Temple During His Performance

Taking to Instagram stories, B Praak addressed the importance of being safe.

New Delhi: B Praak was performing at the Kalkaji temple in southeast Delhi when the stage collapsed, killing one and wounding several. In response, the artist emphasised the importance of ensuring that one's life is never in jeopardy, saying that nothing is more valuable than life itself.

On Saturday, Mahant Parishar hosted a Mata Jagran, an annual event that has been going strong for 26 years, according to the police. The wooden platform that was used to seat devotees fell, causing 17 injuries and the death of a 45-year-old woman. The police said that 1500–1600 people showed up for the event, which was organised permission.

Following the tragic event that happened on January 27th at Delhi's Kalkaji Mandir, B Praak addressed the matter on his Instagram Stories earlier today.

In an emotional video statement, Praak said, "Bahut hi dukh hua aur aur bahut hi mayus hun main, bahut hi dukhi hu aaj, dukhi mann se mujhe aisa lag raha hai kyunki pehli baar maine aise dekha hai apne samne hota hua, jaha par mai gaa raha hu” (I am very sad and disheartened. I am very sad today. I feel like sad because for the first time I have seen this happening in front of me, where I am performing.)”

B Praak also addressed the importance of being safe on his Instagram stories. He said, “We have to be very careful and take care of children and the elderly and everybody else around. There is nothing more valuable than life. We have to be very careful that life is never at risk. We will come again when the Goddess calls us again.”

He added: “I am sad because this was never supposed to happen. I wish all those injured a speedy recovery. The management has to be cautious in future.”
