Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant Wedding: Adele, Drake & Lana Del Rey To Perform At The Star-Studded Event

New Delhi: Following Rihanna's unforgettable performance at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's Jamnagar pre-wedding party, rumours have begun to circulate that the couple is in discussions to bring Adele, Drake, and Lana Del Rey to perform at their Mumbai wedding.

According to sources who spoke with India Today, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are in talks with these musicians to have them play at their wedding reception from July 12th to the 14th. The sources stated, “Currently negotiations and talks are on”. This follows the Jamnagar festivities, which took place on the Italian island of Portofino and included performances by Pitbull, The Backstreet Boys, and Italian opera artist Andrea Bocelli.

Nita and Mukesh Ambani planned a mass wedding for more than fifty low-income couples from Palghar, Maharashtra, on July 2 ahead of their youngest son Anant's wedding.

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding celebrations began on June 29 with a little puja ceremony at the Ambani house, Antilia. 

They hosted a three-day pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar and a French Cruise (two locations in Italy) for A-listers of Hollywood and Bollywood as well as world leaders in business and politics.

The Main Wedding Ceremony

The Ambanis have a full schedule of festivities leading up to their wedding. The Shubh Vivah ceremony will begin on July 12. To fully immerse themselves in the cultural history of the event, guests are invited to dress traditionally in Indian attire. After the Shubh Aashirwad on July 13, the festivities will continue with the wedding reception, or Mangal Utsav, on July 14.

The Ambanis are known for their extravagant parties. In 2018, the Ambanis hosted Isha Ambani's opulent wedding, which allegedly cost $100 million and included a performance by Beyoncé at the pre-wedding party in Udaipur, Rajasthan.
