Aamir Khan's Son Junaid Khan Starts Shooting For His Upcoming Rom-Com With Khushi Kapoor: Report

New Delhi: A number of admirers eagerly anticipating the debut of Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan. Junaid is preparing for his much-awaited Bollywood debut with a romantic comedy starring Khushi Kapoor. The filming has begun in Mumbai, and the young actor has been keeping himself occupied with back-to-back shoots. Initially, filming was to begin on Monday at Mira Road, Mumbai, and continue for three weeks, as reported by Mid-Day. 

A source told the news site that the shooting of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film began on Sunday. The source said, “Sunday was the first day of shoot, but Junaid and Khushi started their portions only on Monday. Since Junaid will be busy promoting Maharaj next month, the director started filming a few days earlier. Over the coming three weeks, Advait and his unit will shoot across Mumbai. The banquet hall of Seven Eleven Club in Mira Road is the primary location for the next few days.” 

Due to Junaid's promotional obligations for his next thriller film, ‘Maharaja’, which opens next month, director Chandan delayed the shoot from June to next month.  

According to the source, the goal is to finish the outdoor scenes by mid-June, in time for the city's rainiest season to begin.

According to the source, Aamir Khan was heavily involved in the film's pre-production, which is a good indicator of his involvement in the final result. Nonetheless, this week the celebrity is reportedly going to Delhi to wrap up filming for his next production, ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’.

The upcoming OTT film ‘Maharaj’, based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, will mark Junaid Khan's Bollywood debut. Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari, and Shalini Pandey will appear in this YRF-Netflix joint production. There was a lot of excitement among moviegoers when Junaid's first look at the film was released in February.

Junaid is also set to feature in an unnamed film, which will be shot mostly in Japan, with Sai Pallavi.
