It has been reported that Vishal Batra, Captain Vikram Batra's brother, is also likely to attend the Delhi reception with his family. As per ETimes, an invite has been sent to the Batra family.

New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding festivities are far from over. The two are yet to hold a reception in Delhi and Mumbai. As for Delhi, their wedding reception will happen on February 9 while the Mumbai reception will take place on February 12, an ETimes report. Now, it has been reported that Vishal Batra, Captain Vikram Batra's brother, is also likely to attend the Delhi reception with his family. As per ETimes, an invite has been sent to the Batra family.

The same report said that earlier Vishal Batra was not sure about attending due to his busy schedule but his wife convinced him to change his mind.

For the unaware, Sidharth Malhotra played the late Vikram Batra in 'Shershaah' which was released last year. Captain Batra laid down his life for India in 1999 Kargil War and was posthumously honoured for his contributions.

It was also during the filming of 'Shershaah' that Kiara and Sidharth fell in love. During the 'Ranjha' song and a little before that while on the Chandigarh schedule, Kiara and Sid fell in love. The outdoor portions of the song were originally supposed to be shot in Chandigarh only but due to date-time issues, it was decided to shift the shoot to the outer part of Khandala.

Earlier, on February 7, Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer among close friends and family. The two shared their wedding pics on social media with a caption which also happened to be a quote from their film 'Shershaah' and wrote, "Ab humari permanent booking hogayi hai. We seek your blessings and love on our journey ahead."

Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding was attended by the likes of Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla, Karan Johar, Isha Ambani and their other close friends and family members.
