BTS Member Jin Drops First Photo From His Military Service - SEE

BTS Jin (Kim Seokjin) updated followers with some fresh photographs of himself in uniform.

New Delhi: Jin of the South Korean boyband BTS made a brief appearance on Weverse after being absent since his December departure for military training to reassure ARMY that everything was well.

The singer updated followers with some fresh photographs of himself in uniform. To give his admirers a better peek at his face, Jin turned toward the camera and took a selfie and wrote, "I'm enjoying my life. I'm posting pictures after getting permission from the military. ARMY, be happy and take care."

Fans were so taken aback by Jin's tweet that they flocked to Weverse to check it out. Shortly after he posted it, the website went down as well.

Earlier, BigHit said in a statement posted on the fan forum Weverse that the large number of gifts at the training centre could make it hard to store them and even cause them to get lost.

The agency said in the statement, "Jin is stationed at a training centre designated specifically for military training together with regular military personnel. If a large number of letters and gifts from the fans arrive at the centre all at once, it would be difficult to store them and they could be easily lost. We ask that you please refrain from sending anything by mail. Please refrain from sending letters and gifts even after he has finished his military recruit training and gets stationed at his military base," it added.

BTS Jin (Kim Seokjin), is presently doing his military obligation as required by South Korean law. Several Korean news sites claim that Jin has graduated from the Division Recruit centre and is currently serving as a commander.

The remaining members of the group — RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook — all want to serve in the military in their own personal schedules and preferences.
