Aryan Khan Drug Case: Court To Pronounce Verdict On Shah Rukh Khan's Son Bail Plea Today
Aryan Khan Drug Case: The last hearing of the drug case took place on October 14, the court scheduled the pronouncement of the order on October 20 due to the Dussehra holiday and the weekend.
A special NDPS court in Mumbai will today pronounce its orders on bail applications filed by Aryan Khan, the 23-year-old son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the drugs-on-cruise case. Aryan Khan was arrested after Narcotics Control Bureau officers raided a Mumbai cruise ship party on October 2. The starkid along with seven others, including his friends Arbaaz Merchant & Munmun Dhamecha, were arrested on October 3.
He has been in Mumbai's Arthur Road jail since October 8 and was briefly in the custody of the NCB before that.
The last hearing of the drug case took place on October 14. The arguments in the bail pleas of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were completed and Special NDPS Judge V.V. Patil had deferred the verdict till Wednesday,due to the Dussehra holiday and the weekend.
Aryan Khan and others accused will be presented at the Special NDPS court today for the hearing of their bail application. Meanwhile, the NCB has reportedly found the mention of a heroine in one of the WhatsApp chats of Aryan -- who has been inside the lockup or custody for 19 nights continuously since his detention on October 2 and arrest on October 3.

Meanwhile, as per reports the jail authorities have increased the security of the Aryan Khan. Jail sources added that he has been moved to a special barrack and is being monitored by the officials.The NCB has reportedly counselled him and other co-accused, offered them their religious holy books like Bhagwad Gita, Quran or Bible, Aryan reportedly is full of remorse and has promised to 'reform' himself after release.
According to sources, the star's son, was counselled by NCB’s high-profile Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede, who has been leading the investigation. A report in TOI states that Sameer Wankhede confirmed that Aryan during his counselling session in the jail promised to make him proud by serving the nation.
So far a total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested in the case.
