Arjun Rampal: As the Narcotics Control Bureau is gradually tightening its clutch around the Bollywood drug nexus, several big names have been roped in. After arresting Firoz Nadiadwala’s wife, the NCB on Monday conducted raids at residence and office premises of actor Arjun Rampal in Mumbai. Arjun Rampal has been asked to join the investigation on 11th November. His electronic gadgets have been seized, the NCB said after the raid. Earlier in the day, film producer Firoz Nadiadwala's wife and four drug peddlers who were arrested by NCB in a drug-related case on Sunday were taken for their medical examination. Meanwhile, Firoz Nadiadwala who was also summoned by the NCB, has just arrived at their office for interrogation. His wife and others have been produced before Court for remand. His electronic gadgets have been seized. After raiding the premise, the NCB has taken Rampal's driver in custody. The NCB had previously taken Arjun Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades's brother Agisilaos in custody over connections with peddlers in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. It was reported that NCB has recovered Hashish and Alprazolam tablets from him. The agency revealed that he was also in touch with several drug peddlers who have been arrested in the drug probe which emanated from SSR suicide investigations. Gabriella Demetriades is a South African model and designer. She owns the fashion label ‘Deme Love’. Gabriella and Arjun Rampal are live-in partners and have a son together named Arik. NCB’s drug probe in Bollywood started when during investigations into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death in June, WhatsApp chats involving drugs were found on the phone of his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. Subsequently Rhea and her brother Showik were arrested under relevant drug charges.
