Anushka Sharma To Begin Shooting For ‘Chakda 'Xpress’ In The UK?

This movie will mark Anushka's return to the big screen for the first time since she gave birth.

New Delhi: After months of preparation for Chakda 'Xpress, starring Anushka Sharma as former Indian women's cricket captain Jhulan Goswami has begun in the United Kingdom. There will be a thirty-day stay for the crew there. According to a credible source in the industry, the actress would start filming for Chakda'Xpress today.

A sizeable portion of the movie will be filmed in the United States, despite the fact that the rest of it will be shot in the United Kingdom. Mid Day has been informed by a reliable source that the cricket sequences would be filmed in a number of different venues, including Lord's Cricket Ground and Headingley Stadium. 

According to a top trade source, “Yes, this is true. Anushka Sharma’s highly awaited next Chakda Xpress has gone on floors from today. No stone will be unturned by the makers to make this into a spectacular and riveting movie. This is Anushka’s first film after she became a mother. So, there is a lot of anticipation to see her back on screen because she has delivered some of the most remarkable performances from a leading lady in Indian cinema. Plus, the fact that Anushka is doing a cricket film, makes the product even more hotter!”

By following Jhulan's inspiring journey, Chakda Xpress follows her as she rises through the ranks to fulfill her ambition of playing cricket for India.
