Amazon Prime Video Releases Exciting New Character Looks For 'TANDAV'

Amazon Prime Video unveiles some exceptional character looks of the ensemble including Saif Ali Khan as Samar Pratap Singh, Dimple Kapadia as Anuradha Kishore

After creating a storm with its first teaser, the Amazon Original series Tandav is all set to introduce us to the phenomenal cast of this riveting political drama.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled some exceptional character looks of the ensemble including Saif Ali Khan as Samar Pratap Singh, Dimple Kapadia as Anuradha Kishore, Sunil Grover as Gurpal Chauhan, Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub as Shiva Shekhar and Kritika Kamra as Sana Mir.

Never seen before in such a staggering avatar, the posters truly uncover the powerful roles that every character entails in the upcoming gripping story.

The 9-episode series marks the creator and director Ali Abbas Zafar’s exciting debut in the digital streaming world and will rest assured leave the audience astounded.

Set in the capital city of the world's largest democracy, Tandav will take viewers inside the closed, chaotic corridors of power and uncover the manipulations, charades as well as the dark secrets of people who will go to any lengths in pursuit of power.

Going by the 1-minute teaser which was released few days earlier, it is safe to say that Tandav promises a nail-biting political drama. Not much about the plot of the series has been revealed in the teaser, which also shows glimpses of Dino Morea, Sunil Grover, Gauahar Khan, Amyra Dastur, Kritika Kamra, Sarah Jane Dias and Sandhya Mridul, Anup Soni. The teaser starts with introducing Saif Ali Khan's character, with a voiceover saying: 'Hindustan ko sirf ek hi cheez chalati hai - Raajneeti. Iss desh mein jo Pradhan Mantri hai, wahi raja hai. (The only driving force in India is politics. In our country, the one who is the prime minister, is the only king).'

The series will be available for Prime members in India and in more than 200 countries and territories from January 15th onwards.

While Saif Ali Khan made his digital debut with Netflix's Sacred Games in 2018, Tandav, which is about the game of power in politics, will be Dimple Kapadia's first web-series. She was last seen in Christopher Nolan's Tenet.

Created and directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Tandav features an ensemble cast headlined by Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kumud Mishra and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub.
