New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah’s upcoming film ‘Darlings’ has impressed everyone with its trailer and people are waiting eagerly for the film to release on Netflix on August 5. Alia Bhatt is busy promoting the film and has been spotted in various outfits and acing pregnancy fashion in each look.

On Friday, Alia Bhatt stepped out to promote her film in a black and white sequin outfit. She wore the dress with a black blazer. The highlight of her look was the blazer as according to the actress, she stole it from her husband Ranbir’s closet. Alia took to Instagram to share the photos and wrote, “While the husband is away — I stole his blazer to complete my look today — thank you my darlings."

Ananya Panday commented on her picture, “Aliaaaa.” Alia's mother Soni Razdan dropped a heart and a laughing emoji.

Alia and Ranbir’s love story

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor got married on April 14 this year after dating for almost five years. They tied the knot in a private and intimate ceremony held at their Bandra residence. Last month, Alia announced her pregnancy on Instagram by sharing a picture of her and Ranbir Kapoor from her sonography session.

How it all started

Recently on Koffee With Karan, Alia shared how a malfunctioning aeroplane seat started her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.

“It was not meant to happen. We were not supposed to be together on New Year’s. We both talked on our flight to Tel Aviv to do a workshop for Brahmastra. We both were seated together. I remember him walking in, and he was supposed to sit next to me, and I was very excited. But then he sat next to me, and something got stuck on his seat. There was some malfunction, so they were going to move him to another seat. And I was like, why is this happening, why is my dream getting shattered? But later, his seat got fixed, and he came back,” she said.

Sharing Ranbir Kapoor’s side of the story, Alia Bhatt added, “Later when we were exchanging notes, even he said, ‘I was getting so upset and irritated, iss seat ko abhi rukna tha when we were sitting together so nicely.’ So that vibe started there only. The rest is history.”

Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in ‘Brahmastra’ which is scheduled to release on 9 September.
