Alanna Panday Wedding: Ananya, Chunky Dance Together, Shah Rukh Khan Watches Ahaan Dancing To His Song

Alanna Panday, the cousin of Ananya Panday, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray in a fairytale ceremony in Mumbai on Thursday.

New Delhi: Alanna Panday, the cousin of Ananya Panday, tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray in a fairytale ceremony in Mumbai on Thursday. The wedding was followed by a grand reception attended by several celebs, including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Jackie Shroff, Ananya Panday, Kanika Kapoor, Orhan Awatramani, and Aaliyah Kashyap. 

Many videos from the wedding reception have been doing the round on the internet. In one of the videos, Ananya Panday can be seen dancing with her father, Chunky Panday, on the song 'Saat Samundar Paar'. Dressed in a powder blue and white saree, Ananya danced with Chunky, who sported a parrot green blazer paired with white pants. They were also joined by Ananya's cousin brother Ahaan, who looked dapper in a black suit.

The song 'Saat Samundar Paar' is from Chunky's 1992 film 'Vishwatma' directed by Rajiv Rai. It also stars Sunny Deol, Naseeruddin Shah and Divya Bharti. 
 
Another video shows Ahaan dancing to 'I'm the best' from Shah Rukh Khan's movie 'Yes Boss' while King Khan himself can be seen watching Ahaan’s performance.

In the video, Ahaan is seen dancing with Karan Mehta. The two are seen wearing white pants, black pants and bowties. Surrounded by friends and family, their performance is enjoyed by Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri Khan also. Shah Rukh looks dapper in a black outfit, and Gauri is dressed in green.

Alanna and Ivor had an all-white wedding as the bride and groom wore ivory attires, and the venue was decorated in shades of white. The bride ditched the customary red in favour of a white chikankari and sequined lehenga ensemble. While white is a traditional Christian wedding colour, Alanna's lehenga was a modern take on the classic colour. The bridal lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra and came in several tones of white and ivory. Instead of elaborate ornamentation, Alanna's lehenga was covered head to toe in beautiful floral embroidery.  

Alanna’s bridal ensemble was enhanced with a chiffon veil and a transparent dupatta with an intricate border. She accessorised her bridal lehenga with a mang tika, diamond drop earrings, and a diamond choker necklace. Her makeup base was dewy with a nude lip tint, mascara, and a dash of highlighter. Her hair was styled in loose waves. 

Ivor looked suave in a white Manish Malhotra ethnic sherwani with flared trousers. He also donned an ivory stole. Finally, a sleek watch and a gold turban completed his ensemble. Both of them were wearing white flowery varmalas around their necks. 

Ivor and Alanna dated for quite many years before they decided on tying the knot. They have a YouTube channel together and live in Los Angeles, USA
