Akshay Kumar Tests COVID-19 Negative; Twinkle Khanna Says ‘Good To Have Him Back Around’

Akshay Kumar tested negative for COVID-19 and Twinkle Khanna shared the news in a unique way.

New Delhi: In the second wave of COVID-19, many celebrities tested positive for the virus. This includes Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Alia Bhatt, R Madhavan, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and others. Yesterday, R Madhavan tested negative for COVID-19 as the actor shared the update on his social media.

It is now Akshay Kumar who has also tested negative for COVID-19. Khiladi Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna took to her Instagram and shared the news of the ‘Ram Setu’ actor testing negative for the virus in a unique way.

Twinkle shared a caricature image of Akshay and herself and wrote, “Safe and sound and good to have him back around. #allizwell”

For the unversed, Akshay Kumar was hospitalised as a precautionary measure and was under observation after testing positive for coronavirus. He was shooting for his upcoming project ‘Ram Setu’ along with Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez.

After testing positive for the virus, Akshay Kumar shared, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself. I'm under home quarantine and have sought necessary medical care. I would sincerely request all those that have come in contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. Back in action very soon.”

Speaking on the professional front, Akshay Kumar will be next seen starring in ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Atrangi Re’.
