A day after being detained for questioning, former Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau today in connection with a drug case. The probing agency took the Bigg Boss 7 fame for medical before producing him in court for remand. NCB is expected to seek 3 days custody.

Meanwhile, in response to the arrests, Ajaz Khan told media that all the accusations were false, nothing was found with him at the airport or home.“Only 4 sleeping pills were found at my home. My wife has suffered a miscarriage & is using these pills as antidepressants,” said Khan.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Narcotics Control Bureau had detained Ajaz Khan from the Mumbai airport upon his arrival from Rajasthan.

The central agency NCB had said it found Alprazolam tablets at Khan's Residence in raids. The probe team conducted raids at Andheri and Lokhandwala areas along with Khan in connection with the case.

His name came to the limelight after the arrest of drug peddler Shadab Batata in the drugs case. Ajaz is allegedly accused of being part of the Batata gang.

The NCB has in recent months increased raids on the alleged Bollywood-narcotics syndicate with searches, interrogations, and arrests being made in this connection. The investigations are linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death last year.

On work front, Ajaz Khan has worked in some TV shows his prominent one being Bigg Boss and has featured in films like 'Bbuddah... Hoga Terra Baap', 'Lamhaa' and 'Allah Ke Banday'.
